PRISC – Policy for Responsible Investment Scoring: This is what I expected from the EU Taxonomy Expert Group

PRISC was published on April 8th, 2020 by the DVFA, the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management. The free tool allows investors to define their sustainable investment policy very easily. For this purpose, there is a text that can be copied and thus modified, an individually changeable spreadsheet and a small sustainability lexicon. On the basis of an individually defined responsible investment policy, the tool makes it relatively easy to evaluate funds and other financial investments. This is something I would have wished for from the Taxonomy Expert Group of the EU!

Unfortunately, the tool only exists in German so far. Upon request, I can provide the documents and the spreadsheet in English (ds@prof-soehnholz.com).

In the following article I show how I defined the sustainability policy of my company Diversifikator on this basis and which PRISC responsibility scores my portfolios receive. On a scale of 0 to 200%, the range of my portfolios extends from 0% to 187%.

Note: I am a member of the Sustainable Investing Commission of the DVFA and have played a major role in the development of the tool.
